About

Me: Swiss-British keen cook, runner and lover of all things nice.

This blog: a space for me to write about the things I love.

Brought up by parents who have always enjoyed cooking & eating, it’s inevitable that it became a passion of mine too. Most meals were made from scratch and to this day my cooking reflects this approach. Fresh produce and a bit of imagination is all you need.

Coming from a family with an inspiring sporting heritage, running, cycling, surfing, walking, yoga & the great outdoors are a big part of my life and thus you will also encounter tales of my holidays and sporting endeavours here.

After 17 years in London, I have recently moved back to Switzerland. A change of pace. A change of priorities. It was long overdue. Happy reading.

I have really enjoyed catching up on your blog this evening – it’s wicked! If you don’t take me for some raclette this year (if not in Switz then at least that restaurant in London) I am going to throw a right stropalopodous. I can’t go with anyone else now can I??!!!

yes I loved how we ate so much great food at uni whilst all around us survived on chips n cheese, mars milks and cheese pasties from the Murco. Do you remember when you asked me what I was having and I replied, “escalopes of salmon in a champagne and chive sauce.” you laughed all the way home from campus. xxx
